Aaron Jeffery

Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. He is most
well-known for his performances as Terry Watson in Water Rats and as Alex Ryan
in McLeod's Daughters and as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth.
Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and moved to Australia at the age of 17
years old. He was a student at NIDA. After graduating in 1993 from NIDA and
NIDA, he started his television career with the children's programme Ship to
Shore. Jeffery is well-known for his part as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's
Daughters, which was cancelled in 2008. He also appeared on the third season of
Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand drama. Jeffery played the role of Frank in
the TV series Underbelly: Badness as Frank. Filming was completed on June 22.
Three days later, it was announced Jeffery had joined the crew of Neighbours as
Bradley Fox for two months. In October, it was discovered that Jeffery was
selected as a corrections officer in the television series Wentworth. Bevan
Lee's series Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. In April of 2021, it was
announced that Jeffery will appear in Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series
adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. As a result of his role in McLeod's
Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular Drama Series
Actor in 2004 and 2007.
