Dawson was born May 9th 1979. She is an American actress, producer and
director. In 1995, she made her feature film debut by starring in the
independent film Kids. Her later film roles include He Got Game (1998), Josie
and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005),
Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson and
the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011),
Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson also
provides voice-overs for Warner Bros./DC Comics as well as ViacomCBS
Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. In her role in Rent, Dawson was awarded the
Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five,
Dawson was nominated to the Critics Choice Award for Best Actress in Comedy.
Dawson was born May 9 1979 in New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of
Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican ancestry. Rosario was sixteen years old when she
was born. birth. Isabel never married Patrick C. Harris who was her biological
father. When Rosario was just a year old, her mother got married to Greg
Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is
Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also known for her appearances in comic
adaptations of books. These include Gail Sin City (2005), Sin City (2005), Sin
City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple (2015-2018) and Diana
Prince/Wonder Women on the DC Animated Movie Universe. She also voices Barbara
Gordon/Batgirl for The Lego Batman Movie. She portrayed Ahsoka Tano in The
Mandalorian's second season in 2020 , and will appear in the Disney+ original
series Ahsoka. She will also appear in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy
series by Dwayne John in 2021.
